MEET THE Bishop

Garvin R. Floyd is a Bishop in the Church of God, a devoted husband, father, spiritual leader, and author whose life bears the marks of both fire and faith.

He currently serves as the Bishop. His ministry began under the spiritual mentorship of Pastor Robert R. Blythe at First Baptist Church in Richmond, Kentucky, where the early seeds of his calling were planted and nurtured.

Bishop Floyd’s message is shaped by personal transformation, prophetic vision, and a relentless desire to see the body of Christ awakened to their true identity. His voice carries weight because it comes from experience—from the pulpit to the trenches, from moments of near-death to powerful resurrection.

He is a family man to his core. He and his beloved wife, Maria Floyd , walk hand in hand through life and ministry, building a legacy of faith and fire. Together, he is a proud father to five incredible children: Hakeem, Kiana, Enricco, Kennedy, and Xavier.

Bishop Floyd is more than a preacher—he is a builder, a father to many, and a voice to this generation calling the sons and daughters of God to remember who they are.
